Clearwater and St Petersburg is known for its incredible beaches, but sometimes we want something more unique for the session to give it a different vibe than what you typically see here in Tampa Bay, Florida. Sometimes our soul wants something more woodsy, secluded, private, with elevations and epic light.
Aripepka Sandhill Preserve is becoming one of my favorite locations for maternity and motherhood sessions. It has a mountains look, which is unique to Florida, tall grass field and the sunset and sunrise are both gorgeous here. During sunrise, we also get the morning fog that combined with the sun’s rays makes for a dreamy background. Unlike the beach, full of people, Aripepka tends to be less crowded, some hikers pass by but we are not fighting the vacationing crowds. The light is absolutely dreamy in Aripepka, and adds to the goddess, boho, ethereal and romantic vibe that makes maternity or motherhood session stand out in an artistic, unique way. It is a perfect location to get dreamy sunset and sunrise sun flares, play with the light, and capture the beauty of your motherhood journey.
